Billie Joe Armstrong...

I went to a Green Day concert in Germany in august and it brought me into the mood to start drawing their lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

And this is the result

This drawing was really fun to make, I really enjoyed working on it.

And his hair....

How do you shade so nicely? I've been trying to get it right for two years but it always looks so bleh and unrealistic

You are soooo good at this!

The eyes especially are really detailed and wonderfully done, and then the hair..! COOL!
If I were to add any critique to this awesome work, I would have to criticize the fluffiness of the lighting and his skin. It looks like everything is glowing a little, and it looks kind of ... fuzzy? It kind of makes me wonder if you ran it through photoshop?

Anyway, besides that you show true talent as always, and I do believe you're really growing and getting better!
